Stokes bases his information on 15 years of search marketing experience as well as competitive intelligence data from AdGooroo.
“Readily available marketing tips and tutorials, accessible on the Internet and other public forums, tend to be outdated or incorrect, while the techniques that really deliver results are kept close to the chest of those in the dominating minority,” explains Stokes.

Mobile Batteries Taking a Beating
Autor admin | 19.08.2008 | Category SEO
Mobile device advancements hit the news daily, spawning every aspect of communications except for one critical area: the battery.
Yes, we’re talking about that small metallic element that plays a crucial role in making smartphones fulfill their productivity promise while under increasing stress due to more robust software and higher-bandwidth connectivity that demand more power.
“It’s a slow technology to evolve, with just 5 to 10 percent improvement per year,” Ken Dulaney, Gartner analyst, told InternetNews.com. “Manufacturers have tried to make better ones, but barring the development of a tiny nuclear power generator for mobile devices there isn’t much they can do,” he said.

Apple has issued a software update for the latest iPhone to help fix connection problems that led to a flurry of online complaints from customers, a European mobile service provider said on Tuesday. T-Mobile, owned by Deutsche Telekom, said the software was available for users to download to their iPhones on Tuesday, but that it was not yet clear if the upgrade would fix all the connection problems. “We have had complaints about connectivity in the Netherlands but have not had more complaints than usual for a 3G phone in Germany. Yahoo Buzz Now Open to All Publishers

What Bad Economy? IT Spend Will Grow This Year
Autor admin | 19.08.2008 | Category SEO

Despite concerns about U.S. economy, a survey by Gartner finds that IT spending will see healthy growth in 2008. The firm reported today that worldwide IT spending will exceed $3.4 trillion in 2008, an 8 percent increase over 2007 levels. Worldwide, software spending will show the strongest growth in 2008 at more than 10 percent, followed by IT services spending at 9.4 percent growth. The two are expected to grow in tandem, Gartner said, because new software solutions often require labor-based services to implement them. The news follows earlier indications from Gartner about CIOs’ plans, suggesting that IT is maintaining its spending regardless of Wall Street worries. (Read the full post about ‘What Bad Economy?
